It is very important to first understand the aesthetic expectations of the patient and to determine the needs correctly in Smile Design.
Diagnosis & Application
It is possible to identify problems and make plans on models prepared with the measurements taken from the mouth of the patient, and to create an aesthetic and functional smile with digital software programs.
In digital systems, sensitive measurements are made from the patient’s mouth with various scanner systems and the data is transferred to the computer environment without the need for measurement. At the same time, a design project is created as a result of various measurements by entering the face and mouth photographs taken while smiling and video recordings taken during their natural behavior. For appropriate and detailed assessments, tools such as the golden ratio index are used for the patient’s smile line. This type of programs allow the patient to see the final form after the treatment in the initial state of simulation, as well as provide a more realistic evaluation by presenting it to the patient in the mouth in the form of temporary restorations.
